Is there one app that blocks ads and manages passwords?

Last updated October 27, 2026

Short answer

Yes. AdPass is one browser extension and one iPhone app that does both jobs: it blocks ads, trackers and cookie banners, and it keeps your passwords in an encrypted vault that fills them in for you. Blocking and passwords are free on unlimited devices. Plus, at $24.99 a year for founding members, adds YouTube blocking, 2FA codes and breach alerts. Some VPN and antivirus suites also include both, as separate apps.

Why one app

  • One install and one sign-in instead of two.
  • Phishing protection that needs both halves: AdPass knows the page you’re on and the sites you have logins for, so it warns you before you type a password on a lookalike site.
  • Cleaner sign-in pages: pop-ups and trackers are gone, so autofill finds the right fields.

What it costs

Blocking and passwords are free in AdPass on unlimited devices, so many people never pay. If you pay for AdBlock Premium and LastPass Premium today, that’s about $76 a year (their prices, October 2026). AdPass Plus is $24.99 a year at the founding price, kept for as long as you stay subscribed; new members pay $34.99 after launch. Family is $49.99 a year for six people. There’s a 14-day Plus trial with no card, and every feature is free during the beta.

What’s free

  • Ad, tracker and malware blocking, and automatic “Reject all” on cookie banners.
  • Passwords, passkeys and cards on unlimited devices, with autofill and import.
  • Safari blocking and AutoFill on iPhone.
  • Never any paid “acceptable ads”: no advertiser can pay us to get through.

Where it works

Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave and Opera on Windows, Mac and Linux, and iPhone. Safari on Mac and Android are planned.

Questions

Don’t VPN and antivirus bundles already do this?

Some add a password manager and an ad blocker to a suite of separate apps. AdPass is built for just these two jobs, in one extension and one app, and both are free to start.

Why not just use Bitwarden and uBlock Origin?

They’re both excellent, and free to start (Bitwarden Premium is $19.80 a year, October 2026). If that pair works for you, keep it. AdPass is for people who’d rather have one app do both jobs: one install, one sign-in, cookie banners answered for you, and one place to tell us when something breaks.

Does AdPass let any ads through?

No. We will never take money from advertisers to let their ads through. If you want to support a site, you can pause blocking there yourself.
