How do I stop cookie pop-ups automatically?
Last updated October 27, 2026
Short answer
Install a blocker that answers cookie banners for you. AdPass clicks “Reject all” (or the most private choice) on cookie banners as pages load, including banners inside embedded frames, and it’s on by default on the free plan. If you’d rather not have it click anything, switch it to Hide, which just hides the banner, or Off.
How it works
AdPass knows the consent tools most sites use and many sites’ own banners, from the open Consent-O-Matic rules plus our own. It only ever follows a site’s reject path. For banners it doesn’t know, it looks for a clear “Reject all” button in a small cookie box and clicks only that.
It never leaves the site you’re on, never clicks inside a sign-in form, and has a strict click limit, so a strange page can’t make it do anything else.
Your choices
- Auto-reject (default): answers the banner with the most private choice.
- Hide: hides the banner without answering it.
- Off: leaves cookie banners alone.
On iPhone
AdPass’s Safari blockers hide many cookie banners on iPhone. Turn them on in Settings › Apps › Safari › Extensions.
If a banner stays up
Use “Something broke on this site?” in AdPass to tell us, and we’ll add that site’s banner to our rules.

Is rejecting cookies automatically free?
Yes. Cookie banner blocking is part of AdPass’s free plan, on unlimited devices.
Will rejecting cookies break websites?
Rarely. Rejecting only turns off optional cookies, like advertising and analytics. Sites keep the cookies they need to work, such as your sign-in and cart.
