How do I move my passwords from LastPass?

Last updated October 27, 2026

Short answer

Export a CSV file from your LastPass vault (Advanced options › Export), then open AdPass › Settings › Vault › Import passwords and choose the file. AdPass reads it on your device, shows what it found so you can skip duplicates, and encrypts everything before it syncs. The AdPass vault is free on unlimited devices, and the same app blocks ads too.

1. Export from LastPass

  1. Sign in at lastpass.com and open your vault.
  2. In the menu on the left, choose Advanced options, then Export.
  3. Enter your LastPass master password. If LastPass emails you to confirm, follow the link, then choose Export again.
  4. LastPass downloads a CSV file.

2. Import into AdPass

  1. Install AdPass in your browser and turn on passwords.
  2. Open Settings › Vault › Import passwords, or Import in the popup’s Passwords tab, and pick LastPass.
  3. Choose the CSV file. AdPass reads it on your device, shows what it found and what it skips, and saves nothing until you say so.
  4. Delete the CSV file. It holds your passwords in plain text.
